Photosynthesis Coating è uno strato vivente di microorganismi fotosintetici che può essere applicato su diversi tessuti, prodotti e altre superfici per attivare processi di fotosintesi durante la fase di uso. Indossando un tessuto così trattato, l'utente può assorbire anidride carbonica e trasformarla in ossigeno. Essendo uno strato vivente, esso richiede una cura costante come una pianta, inoltre, il colore può cambiare a seconda delle condizioni metereologiche o ambientali, stabilendo una relazione di cooperazione e comunicazione prodotto-utente.
