SAPERI&CO – Space Engineering

Siddharth Deore is a student of the master's degree in Space and Aeronautical Engineering of Sapienza, and is carrying out some parts of his thesis project within the fablab of Saperi&Co. In particular, the 3D printed prototype aims to simulate complete motion in free attitude in a microgravity space environment of spacecraft. The prototype consists of a platform with VSCMG pyramid balanced on an acute point with the center of mass closed, to give complete freedom of yaw and 120 degrees in both roll and pitch, limiting the translation movement.
