EcoAerogel is a pure silica airgel, produced from the ash of rice husk - a material obtained from the waste-to-energy process of a waste from the rice agricultural chain - with an innovative and ecological process that aims to lower both production costs and environmental impact. EcoAerogel can be added to other materials due to its numerous properties: thermal insulation and very low density to produce light but insulating materials; high thermal resistance (up to 1100 ° C) for the fire-fighting sector; excellent electrical insulation and - also giving the materials a very high porosity - excellent acoustic insulation.
